In 2023, my team through Ultravision Studios was presented an opportunity to bid on a project for the launch campaign of the 2023 Chevrolet ZR2 line of trucks. We partnered with legendary automotive and lifestyle photographer Jussi Grznar to bring the bid and treatment to life. This production consisted of 2 different picture vehicles shooting over 2 primary locations. Day 1 was shot in the remote Kananskis Valley at Fortress Mountain in the peak of a winter snow system and cold snap. With a crew of 20 production crew and 6 agency / client, our team worked throughout the mountain property to capture all deliverables and assets in an efficient and safety oriented approach. Our next shoot day was focused on tight urban specific images with the cold urban facade of Calgary, Alberta. We shoot throughout downtown Calgary with Police ICT lock ups, special permitting access with the City of Calgary, and various splinter units throughout our production window. A challenging but amazing shoot for all involved, with a strong positive result of broadcast and digital / print distribution for well over 12+ months for all of Chevrolet’s marketing channels.

The efforts for this campaign ended up winning Silver at the CMA’s for the best Automotive Campaign in 2024.
